Thirty-two-year-old Da’von X. Walker of Arlington was arrested in connection with the crash.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man is facing charges after he allegedly led police on a high-speed chase before crashing into another car and a guardrail on Interstate 395 Friday night, according to Virginia State Police.

Instead of stopping, the driver hit the gas.

After weaving in and out of traffic, the driver lost control near exit 10a. Video of the chase posted by Dave Statter shows the Malibu hit a guardrail, spin out across traffic lanes, hit another guardrail and car and come to a stop.

But the chase continued, according to police: four people ran from the accident on foot.

Walker, Virginia police say, was later arrested by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency and identified by the trooper who originally gave chase.

He is being held at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center.
