ARLINGTON, VA — On Thursday, maman will celebrate the grand opening of its new cafe at 1450 S. Eads St., Suite 30, in Arlington with free tote bags and cookie for the first 100 customers, according to a press release.
The Crystal City site marks the brand's 12th cafe in the DMV, according to a release. Founded by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, maman's new location will be open daily and will offer a free tote bag and cookie to the first 100 customers with a purchase on opening day.
The 2,256 square foot-store will be open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to the release.
The shop will serve espresso and tea, housemade pastries, and a made-to-order savory menu, according to maman. The business also said the location will offer gluten-free and vegan food items and cold-pressed juice.
Customers will be able to dine in or place pickup and delivery orders through the maman app. The brand also offers catering and event options.
The interior design for the Crystal City cafe was done by Marshall and Sormonte. Floral installations are by Floratorium, cup designs are by Candice Kaye, custom lamps and finishes are by Nancy J. Farnum, and hand lettering and menu illustrations are by Karen Weber.
The business's website is mamannyc.com, and its Instagram account is @_mamannyc_, according to the release.
