The delay information applies to general airport conditions and is not flight-specific. Travelers from Arlington, Fairfax County and the greater Washington region were advised to check directly with their airlines to determine whether individual flights were affected.

The FAA also reported that some departing flight schedules could be affected because of delays to arriving aircraft. General arrival delays were listed at 15 minutes or less.

No named FAA officials or airport representatives were identified in the provided status update.
