Arlington Launches New Parking Ticket Payment System

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County launched a new parking ticket payment and processing system on Wednesday in partnership with Passport Labs Inc.

The upgraded system includes a new online portal where residents and visitors can view, pay and resolve parking tickets in one place, according to Arlington County.

All parking tickets issued by the county, including tickets issued before Wednesday’s launch, are now available in the new RMC Parking Ticket Payment and Processing Portal. Tickets can be viewed, paid or appealed through the court using the portal.

Drivers can access the portal by scanning the QR code on a parking ticket. The county said the redesigned online system is intended to make it easier to view, pay and appeal parking tickets from a phone, tablet or computer.

Parking tickets can also be paid by phone or by mailing a check, according to the county.

The county also said upgrades are coming to Arlington’s Residential Permit Parking program. Beginning in July, the program, including visitor passes, will move to an all-electronic pass system through Passport Labs.

This year’s Residential Permit Parking renewal will be staggered by zone groups rather than held on one date for all customers, according to the county.
