Available year-round online. The virtual exhibit explores Spotsylvania County’s role in the American Revolution through photographs, documents and historical interpretation.
Available during museum hours at the Fairfax City Museum & Visitor Center. Visitors can collect an America’s 250th commemorative passport stamp while learning about Fairfax City’s Revolutionary War history.
Aug. 12-16, 2026, at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center in Arlington. The fair includes carnival rides, live entertainment, midway games, vendors and family-friendly activities.
Summer 2026 at the High Knob Recreation Area in Norton. The outdoor festival showcases Southwest Virginia’s mountains with hiking, biking, paddling, nature activities and live entertainment.
Late July-August 2026 at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg. Visitors can walk through blooming sunflower fields, take photos, enjoy farm activities, food vendors and family entertainment.
Summer 2026 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Band of Oz headlines this outdoor concert as part of Virginia Beach’s Sounds of Summer series.
Aug. 3-8, 2026, at Felts Park in Galax. The convention is a major old-time and bluegrass music festival featuring competitions, concerts, camping and jam sessions.
