ARLINGTON, VA — A 36-year-old Annandale man was arrested Monday morning after Arlington County police said he was found exposing himself in a public area along King Street.
Officers were dispatched shortly after 10 a.m. to the 4600 block of King Street to investigate a disorderly conduct report, according to Arlington County police.
When officers arrived, they determined a man had been sitting in the area while exposing himself, police said.

Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody without incident.
Police identified the suspect as Preston Adams, 36, of Annandale. He was charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication.
Authorities did not release additional information about the circumstances leading up to the incident.
Adams is scheduled to be arraigned at 2 p.m. on Friday in Arlington General District Court, according to court records.
Virginia General District Court records show Adams has had several other cases scheduled for hearings in 2026. In Fairfax City General District Court, he is scheduled to appear March 10, on a public intoxication charge stemming from an alleged Nov. 21, 2025, offense. He was found guilty in absentia, fined $75 and ordered to pay $126 in court costs.
In Arlington General District Court, Adams was found guilty during an April 7 hearing on a petit larceny charge related to an alleged Aug. 14, 2025, incident. After pleading nolo contendere to the Class 1 misdemeanor charge, he was fined $100 and ordered to pay $211 in court costs, according to court records.
