ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are investigating a report of shots fired late Saturday in a South Arlington neighborhood.

According to the Arlington County Police Department, officers responded to the 1400 block of 28th Street South, where detectives are investigating a shots fired incident.

Police said no injuries have been reported. Officers remained in the area as the investigation continued Saturday night.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Arlington County Police Department Tip Line at 703-228-4180 or email ACPDTipline@arlingtonva.us.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Arlington County Crime Solvers hotline at 1-866-411-TIPS.

No additional details, including what led to the gunfire or whether any suspects have been identified, were immediately released.
