Man Charged After Allegedly Exposing Himself Outside Arlington Apartment Building

ARLINGTON, VA — A man accused of exposing himself outside an Arlington apartment building Saturday also allegedly gave officers a false identity before they discovered he was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Virginia Beach, according to Arlington County police and court records.

Police responded shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday to investigated a disorderly conduct report in 1700 block of North Pierce Street.

Investigators determined a resident inside a common area of a residential building saw a man outside allegedly exposing himself.

Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody.

Police said the suspect provided officers with false personal identifying information during the investigation. Officers later determined he was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Virginia Beach.

Elliott Williams, 20, of an undetermined address, was arrested and charged with simulated masturbation, trespassing after being forbidden and falsely identifying himself to law enforcement.

According to Arlington General District Court records, Williams remained in custody following his arrest. He was arraigned Monday, when the cases were continued, and is scheduled to return to court for an adjudicatory hearing on Oct. 1.

The court records also indicate Williams was served with an outstanding Virginia Beach capias stemming from an alleged failure to appear in a separate misdemeanor case.

All charges are allegations, and Williams is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
