Pest Concerns, Sanitizer Issues Lead Arlington Restaurant Inspection Findings

Arlington inspectors cited sanitizer failures, pest control issues and other violations at restaurants inspected July 11-14.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County health inspectors cited several food establishments for violations during inspections conducted July 11-14, including dishwashing equipment that failed to sanitize properly, a restaurant using reduced-oxygen packaging without an approved Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan, pest-related concerns and other food safety violations.

Inspection reports identify conditions observed during an inspection and do not necessarily reflect a restaurant's overall condition. Many violations were corrected before inspectors left the establishments.
