ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man was charged after firing a gun through the windshield of a moving vehicle Sunday night, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Police responded to Inova Alexandria Hospital around 9:45 p.m. for a delayed report of reckless handling of a firearm.
Investigators determined that a vehicle with three occupants was traveling near Columbia Pike and South Dinwiddie Street between 8:45 and 9 p.m. when the front-seat passenger allegedly discharged a firearm through the windshield.
No injuries or property damage were reported. All three occupants went to the hospital as a precaution, police said.
Farhan Thasin, 33, of Arlington, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and released on a summons.
