The event will run from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, 4444 Arlington Blvd. A check-in and vendor fair will take place from 5:30-6 p.m.

Voters Can Check Registration, Get Election Information

Election officials, community leaders and civic organizations will be on hand to provide Arlington County and Falls Church residents with information about voter rights, election safety and voter responsibilities ahead of upcoming elections.

Attendees will be able to ask questions about the voting process, check their voter registration status and receive assistance registering to vote or updating their registration. Information about absentee ballots, early voting and other election resources will also be available.

"Every eligible voter deserves to feel informed, empowered, and safe when participating in our democracy," Commonwealth's Attorney Parisa Dehghani-Tafti said in a statement.

Organizers said the town hall will also address election protections and steps intended to ensure voters can cast their ballots safely. Residents can learn about their rights at the polls, how to identify credible election information and where to seek assistance if they encounter barriers to voting.

Community organizations scheduled to participate include Spread the Vote, NAACP Arlington, We of Action, the League of Women Voters of Arlington and Alexandria, and Moms Demand Action.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is highly encouraged through the event's Eventbrite page.
