Man Accused Of Exposing Himself Outside Arlington Apartment

A Woodbridge man was charged after police said he exposed himself outside an apartment window along Columbia Pike.

ARLINGTON, VA — A Woodbridge man was arrested after police said he approached the window of an Arlington apartment early Monday morning and exposed himself to a resident inside.

Arlington County police responded shortly after 1 a.m. to the 5000 block of Columbia Pike for a report of disorderly conduct.

Police said the victim was inside his residence when a man approached his apartment window and exposed himself.

Officers broadcast a lookout for the suspect, and responding officers located a man matching the description near the scene, according to police. He was taken into custody.

Police identified the suspect as Jayson Middleton, 37, of Woodbridge. He was charged with indecent exposure. under Virginia Code § 18.2-387. The charge is a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Middleton appeared for an arraignment Tuesday morning in Arlington General District Court, according to court records. The case was continued, and an adjudicatory hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Dec. 2.

No disposition has been entered in the case.
