ARLINGTON, VA — A new 12,000-square-foot event venue featuring rooftop dining and a culinary program staffed by chefs from a Michelin-starred restaurant has opened in Arlington's National Landing.
Located at 2011 Crystal Drive, near the Pentagon, Amazon's headquarters and Reagan National Airport, Concorde is designed for corporate meetings, conferences and other private events. The space can accommodate up to 470 people.
Its largest space, the Forum, seats up to 300 people and includes an adjoining green room. Five additional rooms can accommodate smaller events.
The venue features large windows and a private ground-level entrance, plus video conferencing equipment, digital signs, wireless microphones, and integrated controls for lighting, audio, and window shades.
David Morton's Episcope Hospitality operates Concorde's food program, staffed by chefs from Pineapple and Pearls, the Michelin-starred Washington, D.C. restaurant. JLL's Experience Management team manages the venue.
"Concorde operates around a simple belief that how people feel in a space impacts how they show up in it," Catherine Loy, head of Experience Management at JLL, said.
The aviation-inspired venue is named after the Concorde supersonic passenger jet.
The Crystal Drive building also houses two recently opened food and drink concepts from Episcope Hospitality: Altitude, a wine bar and vinyl listening lounge, and Constellation, an all-day cafe and market.
The property is accessible by Metro and near a planned Virginia Railway Express and Amtrak station. A 330-room hotel is also under development nearby.
