FAIRFAX, VA — A man wanted in connection with a Monday night shooting that left two men injured was arrested after he turned himself in, police said Tuesday.

The man, whose name has not been released, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding.

The department said officers responded around 7:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a domestic-related shooting in the 2200 block of Astoria Circle in Fairfax County's Hutchison neighborhood.

At the scene, authorities found two men who were taken to a hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening, police said.

Police initially said they had identified a suspect and the car he was driving. The suspect was known to one of the victims, police said.

The investigation into the case is ongoing. Police say additional information will be released later Tuesday.
