Sehkraft Beer Garden and Haus Coming to Arlington

Arlington will welcome a new beer-and-music venue early next year – Sehkraft at 925 N. Garfield St.

Prnounced "say craft," It’s technically the second location of Westover Market and the related beer garden by Devin Hicks. The first location is west of Virginia Hospital Center, unlike Sehkraft’s plans, does not brew beer on site.

Sehkraft plans to have have taps flowing directly from its brewing tanks, in addition to dozens of other taps, some serving additional beer brewed on-site, according to Washington Business Journal.

The venue will include a small market and butcher shop, seating for more than 200 people inside and more than 100 outside in a beer garden, and there may be live music, according to ARLNow, which also reported Sehkraft’s head brewer may be John Peters of Lost Rhino in Ashburn.
