1 Dead, 3 Injured After SUV Rolls Over On Route 7 In Sterling: Police
An SUV left the roadway and rolled over several times near Route 7 in Sterling on Saturday. 1 passenger died and 3 others were injured.
STERLING, VA — A crash near Route 7 in Sterling on Saturday led to the death of a passenger. Police said three other people suffered serious injuries that were not life-threatening.
The crash occurred just before 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said in a report. A silver 2020 Nissan Kicks was driving eastbound on Route 7 near Bartholomew Fair Drive.
The Nissan veered to avoid hitting a vehicle that was moving slower, police said. The driver lost control and the SUV left the roadway. The SUV rolled over several times, according to the police report.

The driver of the second car remained on the scene.
First responders took three passengers from the Nissan to Reston Hospital Center. Authorities said their injuries were serious but not life-threatening. One passenger in the Nissan, Orlando Rodriguez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
