18-Year-Old Arrested In Ashburn Stabbing Incident: Police

An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with a stabbing Friday night in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA — An 18-year-old from Ashburn has been charged in connection with a stabbing Friday night in the 21800 block of Blossom Hill Terrace in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the area shortly after 9:15 p.m. where three men had been assaulted and stabbed during an altercation. The three victims were taken to local hospitals with injuries. Two of the victims were treated and released. The third victim remains hospitalized.

The suspect, Erick A. Joya-Morales, fled the scene and was later arrested by deputies searching the area, according to the sheriff's office. Joya-Morales was charged with three counts of aggravated malicious wounding.

The incident allegedly revolved around a prior dispute between some of those involved in the altercation, according to the sheriff's office. The case remains under investigation by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.

Joya-Morales is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond, the sheriff's office said.
