$1M Powerball Ticket Sold At Ashburn 7-Eleven
Someone won $1 million after purchasing a winning Powerball ticket at an Ashburn 7-Eleven, the Virginia Lottery announced.

ASHBURN, VA — One lucky person won $1 million after purchasing a Powerball ticket at a 7-Eleven in Ashburn, the Virginia Lottery announced.
The ticket was one of three across the country that matched the first five numbers in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
The winner hasn't come forward yet. They purchased their ticket at the 7-Eleven at 42870 Truro Parish Drive in Ashburn.

Whoever purchased the winning ticket has 180 days to claim their prize, the Virginia Lottery said.
"The Virginia Lottery advises that before doing anything else, the winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket to establish ownership," lottery officials said in a news release. "When the person is ready to claim the million-dollar prize, he or she should contact the Virginia Lottery."

The 7-Eleven that sold the winning ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery.
No ticket in the country matched all 6 Powerball numbers on Wednesday, so the jackpot has grown to $194 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday night at 10:59 p.m.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 25.
