2-Year-Old Girl Drowns Saturday In Sterling Residential Pool: Police

STERLING, VA — A 2-year-old girl drown Saturday and a 2-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found by a family member at a residential pool on Acorn Court, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Both children were taken to the Lansdowne Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital, where the girl died.

Shortly before 10:45 p.m., police and a rescue unit responded to the scene, where the family member found the children unconscious in the pool. The incident is under investigation.
