$245K Lottery Prize Won By Loudoun Woman

A Loudoun woman won a $245,000 Cash 5 with EZ Match prize from the Virginia Lottery after picking numbers at random.

LOUDOUN, VA — Rosendo Cedeno, a Loudoun County resident, won $245,000 playing the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 with EZ Match game.

Cedeno purchased her ticket online and selected numbers at random. She learned of her win through an email from the Virginia Lottery around 2 a.m. after the drawing.

The winning numbers for the Nov. 22, 2025, drawing were 7-24-32-33-41. The Cash 5 with EZ Match game features a rolling jackpot that begins at $200,000. Players must match all five numbers to win the jackpot, with the odds of doing so listed as 1 in 1,221,759.

Upon receiving the notification, Cedeno questioned the reality of her win. "Is this real?" she initially wondered. She then realized, "I think I really won this!" The excitement prevented her from sleeping, as she reportedly kept waking up to confirm it was not a dream, according to Lottery officials.

The Virginia Lottery allows players aged 18 and older, who are physically located in Virginia, to play popular games online. These games include Powerball, Mega Millions, and Cash 5 with EZ Match, among others.

All profits generated by the Virginia Lottery are dedicated to K-12 education within the state. Loudoun County received over $28.8 million in Lottery funds for K-12 education during the last fiscal year. In Fiscal Year 2025, the Lottery contributed more than $901 million to K-12 education statewide, which accounts for approximately 10 percent of Virginia's overall K-12 school budget.
