3 Dead In Head-On Crash In Ashburn: Police
Authorities said three men died in a head-on crash in Ashburn on Wednesday night. Speed may have been a factor, according to police.

ASHBURN, VA — A head-on collision in Ashburn fatally injured three people on Wednesday night, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities have not publicly named the three people who died in the crash. The sheriff's office identified the deceased people as a 56-year-old man from Las Vegas, a 51-year-old man from Silver Spring, and a 66-year-old man from Brambleton.
Investigators said they were still working to identify the families on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Shellhorn Road. The crash involved a 2023 Dodge Challenger and a 2023 Toyota Sienna taxi.
"Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the Dodge was traveling northbound on Loudoun County Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median, and struck the Toyota Sienna minivan head-on," the sheriff's office said in a report. "Speed is believed to be a factor."

The driver of the Dodge and the two occupants of the taxi were pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
