$327,739 Winning Lottery Ticket Bought At Ashburn Harris Teeter

A woman from Prince William County won $327,739 from a rolling jackpot ticket that she purchased at a Harris Teeter in Ashburn.

ASHBURN, VA — A winning lottery ticket was purchased at an Ashburn Harris Teeter. The lucky winner, Lisa Miclot of Prince William County, claimed her $327,739 in winnings from the Virginia Lottery earlier this month.

Miclot's winnings came from the Virginia Lottery's Print 'n Play Rolling Jackpot game. The game allows players to pick their price point for a chance to win a prize accordingly. A $2 ticket can earn 20 percent of the top prize, a $5 ticket can earn 50 percent of the jackpot, while a $10 ticket can win the full 100 percent of the jackpot. Lottery officials did not say which ticket Miclot purchased.

Officials said Miclot was on her way home when she needed to stop to pick up materials for dinner. She chose to shop at Harris Teeter at 42780 Creek View Plaza in Ashburn. While at the store, Miclot picked up her winning ticket.

Miclot told lottery officials that she did not have any immediate plans for her winnings.

Currently, the Print 'N Play Rolling Jackpot game has reached a jackpot of $85,973 as of Monday, Aug. 9. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 240,000.
