4DX Theater Now Open In Ashburn's Brambleton Town Center
The 4DX location at Regal Fox in Brambleton Town Center offers a "full-scale sensory experience" to moviegoers.
ASHBURN, VA — Ashburn moviegoers have a new option to experience films with the opening of a 4DX theater at Regal Fox, located in Brambleton Town Center in Ashburn. The theater is the first 4DX location in Northern Virginia, according to a release.
4DX is described as an "immersive technology" that enhances a moviegoer's experience through the use of special effects including motion-synchronized seats, wind, fog, rain, lightning, snow, bubble, vibration and scents. The goal is to bring fans into the action on-screen, the release said.
The Ashburn 4DX theater is Regal's 24th location in the U.S. The expansion is part of a larger deal with Cineworld Group, parent company of Regal, to bring the total number of 4DX U.S. locations in the coming years to 85.
