$50K Powerball Winner in Ashburn

There are three tickets across the nation that will split a share of the nearly $1.6B Powerball jackpot from Wednesday night.

But one ticket in Ashburn prove there’s more cash prizes than just the jackpot.

A $50,000 ticket was sold at the Schmitz Exxon at One Loudoun, 44680 Wellfleet Drive, according to state lottery officials.

The winning numbers for the jackpot on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 were:

• 4-8-19-27-34 and the Powerball 10

Two $1 million tickets were sold in Salem and Virginia Beach.

The Virginia Lottery notes that Powerball ticket sales in the state amounted to $34.7 million in profit, all of which will go to K-12 schools.
