Loudoun Now reports that, according to a police affidavit, Tran is accused of using most of those cards to buy guns, ammunition and gun accessories. The outlet says alleged purchases included more than 15,000 rounds of ammunition, trigger assemblies for Glocks and AR-15s, ghost gun kits for an AR-15 and AR-9, holsters and gun cases, military-grade backpacks, and other accessories. Citing court documents, the outlet reports that police say they seized multiple firearms and firearm parts from Tran’s house.

Most AR-15s and other assault-style firearms will be banned in Virginia as of July 1.

Police say they believe Tran stole the credit card numbers from his job at a Herz rental car office.

Tran’s next hearing is scheduled for June 22.
