ASHBURN, VA – Loudoun County Public Schools’ assistant superintendent for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility is on administrative leave, according to a new report.
Loudoun Now reports that Latisha Ellis-Williams, who has been the county’s DEI chief since 2023, is on administrative leave. An LCPS spokesperson confirmed the leave but would not comment further.
According to Loudoun Now, Ellis-Williams has not been seen at a school board meeting since April 28.
The outlet reports that U.S. Congressman Randy Fine (R-FL) suggested in a letter to Superintendent Aaron Spence earlier in July that Ellis-Williams might be on leave because of an investigation into alleged financial misconduct. Spence testified before Congress in June.
