Ralls County, Missouri, has enacted a one-year moratorium while it develops regulations, guided partly by lessons shared by former Ashburn supervisor Mike Turner.
• Commanders sign Roanoke's Carlos 'Boogie' Basham (wsls.com) — Washington Commanders activity in Ashburn includes signing Roanoke native Carlos "Boogie" Basham to bolster depth at outside linebacker as injuries pile up. The team also shuffled several safeties and placed defensive end Drake Jackson on injured reserve while trimming the roster before preseason ends.
