LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – A Loudoun County house fire on Friday displaced a family of four and resulted in nearly $1 million in damages, Loudoun County Fire and Rescue reports.
According to the fire department, units responded to the 17200 block of Arrowwood Place in Round Hill shortly before 1:20 p.m. on Friday to find fire on the first floor of a single-family house.
All occupants were reported to be outside before the fire department arrived, which the department credited to working smoke alarms. Firefighters said the homeowner was awakened by the sound of the smoke alarm and found a fire in the living room.
No injuries were reported.
The fire was extinguished later that afternoon. Its cause has not been determined.
Loudoun Fire and Rescue estimated the fire damage at roughly $940,000.
