Ashburn Boy Throws First Pitch at Nationals Game

An Ashburn boy with cancer had the chance to throw the first pitch at a Nationals game last week, the Washington Post reports

The 13 year old, Gavin Rupp, spent last Friday mingling with his favorite player, Bryce Harper before the game against the Padres, the newspaper reports. He even got to throw him a ceremonial first pitch in front of thousands of fans.
