Ashburn Burglaries Linked to Unlocked Garage Doors
Loudoun County sheriff urges residents to secure their doors and windows.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to lock their vehicles and close garage doors after several recent burglaries were reported in the Dulles South area of Ashburn.
Since June 4, there have been four burglaries in Ashburn during which the residents were home and the suspect or suspects gained entry through an exterior garage door and an unlocked interior garage door, the sheriff’s office said. In two cases, it appears the suspect used a garage door opener from an unlocked car parked in a driveway to gain access to the home.
