Ashburn Country Club Sold To Texas-Based Company

The country club, previously owned by Toll Brothers, will shift ownership to Dallas-based ClubCorp.

ASHBURN, VA — An area country club will shift ownership after Toll Brothers sold off all four of its D.C.-area golf and country clubs. According to a report, the Pennsylvania-based company sold Belmont Country Club in Ashburn to Dallas-based ClubCorp.

Toll Brothers also sold Dominion Valley Country Club and the nearby Regency at Dominion Valley in Haymarket, and Oak Creek Golf Club in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, the Washington Business Journal reports. The terms of the deal, which included three other clubs in North Carolina and Florida, were not disclosed.

ClubCorp owns more than 200 country clubs across the nation. According to the company, members of the Ashburn club will now be able to access the company's network of other private clubs and golf courses.

ClubCorp owns golf clubs throughout the D.C. area including City Club of Washington, D.C., the Tower Club in Tysons, Chantilly National Golf and Country Club, River Creek Club in Leesburg and Norbeck Country Club in Rockville.
