Ashburn Five Star Painting Owner Receives Mentoring Award

The award was one of multiple presented at an international conference honoring Five Star Painting franchisees.

ASHBURN, VA — Stuart Nokes, owner of Five Star Painting of Loudoun, recently was honored with an Excellence in Mentoring award, one of several awards given at the Neighborly International Conference in San Antonio, Texas, last month.

The annual Excellence in Mentoring award is presented to a Five Star Painting franchise owner who is a "model franchisee" and is willing to "positively impact and help others in the Five Star Painting system," according to a release.

Five Star Painting is part of the Neighborly community of home service brands. The company also presented Franchisee and Rookie of the Year awards at the conference.

Last year, Five Star Painting of Loudoun was named the best out of 150 franchises in the nation, the Loudoun Times reported. Nokes and his wife, Tina, took over the business from their son, Ryan, in 2014.
