Ashburn Goddard Students Visit Rep. Barbara Comstock

Students from The Goddard School located in Ashburn, a preschool known for its play-based approach to learning and focus on STEAM subjects, paid a visit to the Capitol building on May 16. On the Tuesday afternoon, Congresswoman Barbara Comstock gave the preschoolers and their teachers a personal tour, after which she directed them into the hearing room where discussions were had about science and technology issues that are currently affecting the nation. Impressed by the students’ knowledge of STEAM, Barbara plans to attend the school's science fair next year.
