Ashburn Motorcycle Rider Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash: Police
A motorcycle rider from Ashburn died after he lost control of his vehicle on Friday afternoon, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
ASHBURN, VA — A motorcycle rider died in a single-vehicle crash in Ashburn on Friday afternoon, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities identified the deceased rider as 34-year-old Erik Grier of Ashburn. No other injuries were reported and the crash.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Friday on Claiborne Parkway near Harry Byrd Highway in Ashburn.

"The preliminary investigation revealed that the rider lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the guardrail," the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
First responders took Grier to an area hospital where he died from his injuries, authorities said.
