Ashburn Restaurant Inspections: 25 Violations At 2 Locations

LEESBURG, VA — Local health officials recently inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Loudoun County. During the last week of inspections, officials found a total of 56 violations at 16 Leesburg-area restaurants.

Violations noted below — such as the 10 at Anthony's Italian & Mediterranean in Purcellville and the 15 at El Estribo in Sterling — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
