Ashburn Star Student Is A Creative Soul Who Stands Up For What's Right
Patch recognizes students who stand in and out of the classroom. One star student from Ashburn always tries to help people in need.

ASHBURN, VA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Danielle Mueller who nominated Azzurr of Ashburn. Azzurr was nominated by her mother, who is astounded by her daughter's creative soul and caring heart.

How do you know the star local student?
She is my daughter!
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Azzure has such a beautiful and creative soul!! She works very hard in school and stands up for what is right despite any bumps in the road she comes across. She always comes to me wanting to assist people in the community and friends at school whenever they are in need. Whether it be for food, friendship, or standing up to a bully, she is always looking to make people feel great about themselves and ensures people are taken care of. She would give the shirt off of her back if need
be! She is a self taught make up artist and wants to go to school for Cosmetology. I am very proud of the young lady she has become and continues to be!!
