Attempted Purse-Snatching Suspect Sought In Sterling
Police looking for a man who tried to snatch a woman's purse late last month at an Aldi grocery store in Sterling have released a sketch.

STERLING, VA — Police looking for a man who tried to snatch a woman's purse late last month in the parking lot of an Aldi grocery store have released a composite sketch of the suspect. He's described by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office as being Hispanic, around 5-8, in his late 20s or early 30s. He had a skinny build and a goatee.
On Sept. 28 around 1 p.m., an unknown man approached a woman who was loading groceries into the back of her van. He said, "I'm going to help you," and then tried to grab her purse.
