ASHBURN, VA — Authorities are investigating a pair of deaths that occurred at a home in Ashburn, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies responded to the home in the 20060 block of Old Line Terrace around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Authorities said a man was found dead outside the home while a woman was dead inside the home. Police officials noted that nobody else was in the residence at the time.

In a release, the sheriff's office said the incident is isolated to the home and there is no broader threat to the community. Deputies originally responded for a "assist rescue call," police said.

The sheriff's office has not publicly released any information about who died or what caused their death. Officials noted that more information would be "released as appropriate."
