Backpack Buddies Foundation Story on NBC4

Thanks to the efforts of many businesses, groups and individuals, our St. David’s Backpack Buddies program at Cedar Lane and Discovery Elementary schools has been a tremendous success. The creative leadership of parishioners Keith Korin and Beth Pettyjohn have led the efforts of this ministry during the 2016-17 school year to reach new successes! This is so important to those children in our community who won’t go hungry over the weekends. We provide 90 bags a weekend and have provided nearly 3000 bags during the 2016-17 school year.
