Board of Supervisors Cancels Tonight's Budget Hearing

But residents can comment on 2016 budget at public hearing on Saturday.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors’ public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2016 budget scheduled for this evening on an “as-needed” basis has been canceled. All of the approximately 50 people who signed up to speak at the board’s two public hearings on Wednesday were accommodated, so tonight’s hearing is not needed, accordig to a county press release.

The board will hold a public hearing at 9 a.m. Saturday on the proposed fiscal 2016 budget at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administration Building, 21000 Education Court in Ashburn.

Saturday’s public hearing will be available for viewing live on Comcast Channel 18, Verizon FIOS Channel 43 and Open Band Channel 42. It will also be available live on the LCPS webcast system. Once the webcast is archived, it will be available on the Loudoun County website at www.loudoun.gov/webcast.
