Briar Woods Varsity Softball Advances to Semifinal

Wins over Potomac Falls and Tuscarora put the Falcons a win away from the Dulles District final.

The Briar Woods varsity softball team added an 11th win to its current streak, beating Tuscarora Friday night 5-2 in the Dulles District quarterfinals. The win came one day after a 7-0 win over Potomac Falls (see Chuck Moore’s photos).

The semifinal takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at home against Loudoun County. The winner goes on to the championship at 6 p.m. May 26 at Tuscarora.
