15-Year-Old Broad Run HS Student Charged In Sexual Battery Of Fellow Student

ASHBURN, VA — A Broad Run High School student has been charged with sexual battery and abduction of a fellow student, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

In its investigation, the sheriff’s office determined that on Wednesday afternoon, the 15-year-old suspect forced the victim into an empty classroom at the Ashburn high school, where he held her against her will and inappropriately touched her.

The girl immediately reported the incident to a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. The name of the suspect cannot be released due to the fact he is a juvenile.

The sheriff’s office is not releasing any information about the victim to help protect her identity.
