Broad Run Marching Spartans Welcome Community for Friends & Family Performance

The 2017-2018 Broad Run High School Marching Spartans will be presenting a preview performance of this year’s field show, “A Moment Captured” on Friday, August 25th at 7:00 PM in the Broad Run Spartans stadium. The Marching Spartans invite the community to join us for the preview and the event is free of charge.

The Marching Spartans are led on the field by Drum Majors Pete Berman and Matt Cieslak. Brass Captain and Trombone/Baritone Co-Section Leader is Sean Tillman. Woodwind Captain and Flute Section Leader is Sandra Scarlatoiu. Percussion Captain is Michael Bourdelais. Color Guard Captains are Charlie Fierstine and Morgan Towle. Additional Section Leaders include: Sam Campbell (Trombone/Baritone), Anna George (Mellophone), Mitch Glaes (Tuba), Billy Levinrad (Clarinet), Ryan Lynch (Trumpet), Sarah Nunley (Color Guard), Gabe Payton (Saxophone), Antra Shah (Front Ensemble), and Ailsa Young (Color Guard).

The Broad Run Band Program is under the direction of Mr. Ryan Dempsey, assisted by Andy Schlaf. Color Guard is instructed by Ryan Ignacic, assisted by Erica Resurreccion and Leina Thurn. Percussion Battery is instructed by Dylan Mercer and the Front Ensemble is instructed by Megan Constantinides, with Percussion Technicians Andrew McConnell and Rachel Rood.

The Marching Spartans are coming to you! On September 9th, the Marching Spartans will be visiting throughout our community on September 9th during our annual Tag Day.
