Broad Run Students Must Retake SATs: Media Reports
Results of May 2 exams were lost in mail, says administrator of college admissions test.

A number of students at Broad Run High School have received some bad news: They have to retake the SAT exam.
The College Board, the company that administers the college admissions test, says that it never received the completed tests taken by the students on May 2, according to media reports.

Officials with the Loudoun County school system told radio station WTOP that they sent the complegted tests via UPS, but the College Board never received them. The College Board says the students can retake the test on June 20, but that date falls in the midst of final exams.
One student told NBC Channel 4 that she spent more than 100 hours over two months preparing for the SATs with a test preparation service. She expressed frustration that she’ll have to take the exam again.

The College Board said it is making “every effort” to find the lost tests.
