Broad Run Supervisor Applications Being Accepted

Loudoun County Board of Supervisors looking to fill seat for the rest of 2015.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants for an interim Broad Run District Supervisor. The seat is vacant after the weekend resignation of Shawn Williams.

Williams, 44, was charged with simple assault and unlawful entry early Sunday morning. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Wingfoot Court in Ashburn around 1 a.m. for the report of a male who forced his way into a neighbor’s home and allegedly pushed the victim during a dispute.

The board will appointment a replacement for the remainder of the 2015 term. That person will serve until the person elected as the Broad Run District Supervisor in the general election takes office on Jan. 1, 2016.
