Celebrating Diversity in Preschool

One of the joys of living in the Ashburn community is being exposed to various cultures. We decided to use the Olympics as a starting point for celebrating the diverse community in our  school. As we began exploring, the teachers are I were astonished at the vast amount of countries and cultures that our student body and staff represent. We began printing and hanging flags from each of them. We had enough to hang through our entire lobby and half way down the hallway too!

We we came up with a plan to have a multicultural day where families can set up "tables" with flags, music, food, or activities to represent their heritage.  We are celebrating our first annual multicultural day this Saturday, March 29th from 10am-1pm. The entire community is invited.

RSVP to Jessica.best@nlcinc.com or stop on by 20424 Ashburn Village Boulevard. 703.723.8084.

Saturday is going to be amazing.

Bye, Ciao, Adios,
