Chick-Fil-A In Ashburn Officially Open, 100 Win Free Food

After a 12-hour campout, a conga line and a tasty giveaway, Ashburn's second Chick-fil-A is officially open for business.

ASHBURN, VA — By 6 p.m. Tuesday, more than 100 local residents had gathered outside the new Chick-fil-A in Ashburn for a chance to win free food for a year and to commemorate the store's Wednesday morning opening.

Many camped in the store's parking lot at 43520 Yukon Dr. until just before 6 a.m. Wednesday when the Chick-fil-A cow led participants in a conga line and patience paid off in the form of free food for a year for the first 100 who registered.

Chick-fil-A in Ashburn officially opened for business this morning. The store, operated by Brian Summers, is located near the Ashburn Metro Station. The nearly 4,500-square-foot restaurant offers a dual-lane drive-thru, a 126-seat dining room with a two-story indoor playground and free wi-fi, and a full-service menu offering breakfast until 10:30 a.m.

Summers said in a news release he is excited to open the new location in the heart of Ashburn. "It provides another opportunity for me and my team to serve our community both inside and outside our restaurant,” Summers said.

Regular store hours are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. Ashburn's other Chick-fil-A is located at 44835 Lakeview Overlook Plz.
