The information session is a follow-up to the Jan. 22 kickoff event, and is designed for those who were unable to attend the first meeting. It will include an open house from 6:30-8 p.m. with a presentation at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the project is to conduct a dialogue with residents of the Dulles community to identify neighborhood and community-wide priorities, and to develop recommended strategies to aid in planning and activities. The project will conclude with a report presented to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in the third quarter of this year.

The boundaries of the Dulles community include Ryan Road to the north, Dulles Airport and the Loudoun County line to the east, Braddock Road to the south and the Transition Policy Area boundary to the west.

The county’s Department of Planning and Zoning wants to hear from stakeholders of the Dulles community about their perceptions of living and working in the community. In addition to a presentation on the existing and planned conditions of the Dulles community at the Feb. 10 meeting, County staff will introduce the project’s multiple outreach methods, including online surveys, web-based forums, interactive mapping, focus groups and community work sessions. Active outreach efforts will continue through this spring, providing numerous opportunities for community members to share their desires for the development of their neighborhoods.

Anyone who requires any type of reasonable accommodation as a result of a physical, sensory or mental disability to participate in the meeting is asked to contact the Planning and Zoning Department at dpz@loudoun.gov or (703) 777-0246.
