On The Roads

Around 7:15 a.m., a crash blocked all lanes of Lorton Road at Lorton Station Boulevard. Both directions were blocked by the crash involving a truck.

A work zone on I-95 southbound after VA -630 blocked the right lane.

17th Street NW was closed in both directions from Constitution Avenue NW to Independence Avenue SW for a work zone.

On northbound US-1, a single lane gets by the work zone at VA-234.

A crash on North Capitol Street affected traffic in both directions at Harewood Road/Fort Drive.

Weather

Temperatures are expected to reach the low 80s on Thursday. There is a chance of possible thunderstorms throughout the region during the afternoon.
