Crews Battle Blaze In Sterling: Authorities

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — First responders battled a house fire Sunday in Sterling, according to authorities.

Emergency personnel were on the scene around 5 p.m. in the 20400 block of Broad Run Drive, authorities said.

"Crews arrived to find heavy fire and smoke conditions coming from the roof of the home," Loudoun County Fire and Rescue said in a social media post.

"A Rapid Intervention Task Force and Tanker Task Force have been requested. Expect a large public safety presence in the area for an extended period of time."
